The Sooke Fire Department`s Recruit Training cycle starts in September 2009.

Firefighters will soon be canvassing the district looking for prospective volunteers!

Back, by popular demand from 2008, the Fire Department will be hosting a number of

public events and displays. We`re still working on the details, so keep your eyes open for

our displays and posters around town!

2009`s display is going to be bigger and better, including a Public Education

Division display, Jaws of Life Demonstration and the Fire Department Bouncy House!

Anyone who is interested in finding out more is welcome to attend any of our upcoming public displays, open houses or to contact Fire Chief Steven Sorensen to learn more. No experience is necessary!

Application Packages are available to anyone who is interested. The next recruit class starts in September 2009.
